The very nickname ‘city of Joy’ describes Kolkata so well that even the international travelers do wish to be here out of interest. And you know it well that Kolkata really does have components to please its fans. But, the people who have been living here for long years might find all exciting elements to be pale and unappealing for the simple reason that they have seen enough of it. For them, the city has nothing but to offer noise, pollution, and crowd (as this is the case with almost every city resident). So, it is obvious that if you are in Kolkata for years or maybe decades, you would seek a break from dull city life. Therefore, in this Holi (festival of color) weekend I along with my family planned a short tour to lava lolegaon rishop for a break of the monotony of our daily routine life.
The reason we stayed at Hotel Kasturi Jaigaon was that the hotel was very close to Phuntsholing, Bhutan, and India border. Another reason was to get Indian food. Hotel Kasturi Jaigaon was a decent hotel and nothing great in particular. Hotel Kasturi also has a restaurant and a banquet hall. This hotel in Jaigaon also has a 24-hour front desk for the convenience of its guests. Additional services such as medical assistance, laundry, and room service are provided.
Busy day, busy week. We are continuously running after time. Day after day, five days a week. Our mind also needs relief and refreshment. When we will be unknown to unknown address mind constantly asks us? Think of the day or two where will you go away somewhere, where will you get the holiday? Near to Kolkata makes it easily accessible and provides an easy option of having a tranquil weekend amidst greenery and natural surroundings. The charm of enjoying village life and witnessing its simplicity from the close quarters is an added gift for tourists visiting Bhalki Machan. A long drive away from the city, this getaway is the perfect spot to laze around for a day or two.

After a detail online survey, I decided to spend two nights at Punakha at least to complete basic Punakha Sightseeing. Punakha was the capital of Bhutan and the seat of government until 1955 when the capital was moved to Thimphu. It is about 72 km away from Thimphu and it takes about 3.5 hours by car from the capital Thimphu.
I stayed at Hotel Kingaling Punakha for 2 nights with my family.
The journey to Punakha from Thimphu via. Dochu La Pass is must if you would like to experience the architecture, culture, and tradition of the Kingdom of Bhutan. Punakha, the ancient capital of Bhutan, hosted the grand royal wedding ceremony of the reigning king of Bhutan, His Majesty Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetson Pema, on 13th Oct 2011 and it still serves the winter capital due to more promising climate.

This is an experience of tasting good Indian foods in Thimphu. The lists found on Lonely Planet and Trip Advisor is quite helpful. It is worth noting that Tuesdays are dry days, meaning that bars are closed and some restaurants, especially those not in hotels, are closed. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy the review of Chula Restaurant Thimphu.
