These days visiting a foreign country has become quite common and simple, and I, too, have had the opportunity to do so. I travelled to Malaysia, Come; let me share my impressions of Malaysia with you.

Lucky are those {who|those that|people who} read plenty and people who travel a lot. The rich experience, which they gain, not only makes them discover new ways of life but also makes them wiser. I must thankful to my organization which gave me the opportunity to visit abroad for first time.

4. Tell me how many countries have you visited and which one you liked the most?

4 countries. Of course India.

5. What is the craziest thing having you done in your travels?

With my family I traveled from Kolkata to Siliguri. Not getting rail reservation we traveled by A/C bus. When I boarded, a well-built person also boarded and he had a big gun (like used for shooting birds). He went and sat within the last row corner seat. When the conductor of the bus came for checking the tickets, the gun man told he has the pass (so that he need not buy the ticket) to travel. The conductor asked him to show and he didn’t show.

Conductor came once an hour and additionally asked him to show the pass. The gun man told it is inside and he cannot take out. The conductor stopped the bus around 11 PM in a police check post and informed the police there that one person is not buying the ticket. 4 police men came inside the bus and asked the gun man to get out of the bus. He refused and repeated the same that he has a pass. The police also scared to go near to him since he was holding a big gun.

Police asked all people to get down from the bus. Finally one policeman snatched the gun from him and other policemen started hitting him. We could hear the blows and shouts from outside. The children were scared. At the end, they dragged him out of the bus and pushed him to the ground. He had a very big sword as well. He was bleeding and scolding all the people. Then he got up and showed the pass to the policemen and conductor!!!

Then the Inspector (police chief) told the conductor to take him in the bus since he has a pass :-). All the passengers started shouting at the inspector and to the conductor. Finally bus left without the gunman.

That was one of the scary trips I had and we reached Siliguri late by 2 hours.

6. Which place in your country would you recommend visiting and why?

Ladakh.

Ladakh is a land of contrasts. The tough brown mountains and the sky a shade of blue you may never see anywhere else. The cold, unforgiving winters and the heat of the Ladakhis as they say “Jullay”. Ladakh is not just another destination but may be a crosscut to a landscape that’s a slice of solitude on Earth. You might be a skeptic traveler who continues to be worried about visiting Ladakh due to its altitude and remote location however here are ten reasons why you need to visit Ladakh now or never.
